Buying a Business FAQ's

How can I pay for it?

There are many finance options available for funding your franchise. Ask us about this!

Financing Resources:

Home Refinance or Equity Line of Credit

As the market rebounds you might have more equity in your home. Often potential franchisees are able to refinance their homes, thanks to low interest rates, and pull enough capital out to purchase a franchise. We suggest that you check with your local or community bank; often they are willing to work with customers. You might also be able to secure a line of credit based on a portion of your home equity which can help with ramp up costs.

401(k) or IRA

Tapping into your retirement fund is a popular way to fund a business. There are a number of advantages, and there are no financial penalties if you do it right. By creating a C corporation and corporate retirement account and moving corporate stocks, you can, in effect, loan money to yourself. This is always a popular financing option.

Cash

While Worried Bird only requires a minimum liquidity of $60,000, you may have more capital you could use to get started. If you have the liquidity, cash is always a great way to invest. Your savings could be the key to unlocking a richly rewarding investment without the hassle of third parties, tax penalties or interest rates.

Friends & Family

A great place to make up any gap remaining friends & family that believe in what you're doing are a great resource to get the left over capital needed to make your business ownership a reality.

How much money will I make?

This is a great question! By law we're not allowed to say how much you are "going" to make. However, one single full time operator Gig Rig maxes out at about $240,000/yr. before another one is needed (depending on several factors including time dedicated (Full-Gig or Side-Gig), average ticket price, # of customers etc.

Example)

500 customers @ $300 per customer

This equals about 1.9 customers served per weekday

Estimated time required per week (includes driving) = 27.93 servicing hours.

=  Gross $150,000 /yr (less than 40hrs / week)

How do I get customers?

Great question!

There's a lot that happens here! To name a few; we provide sales services to help you get started and to help you land & expand commercial & residential accounts and routes.

You'll also receive constant weekly video training in our training academy coupled with a, very robust, in-the-field playbook detailing specifically how to find customers, keep them and expand them.

A routine phone call keeps you accountable & on track with your targets, goals and your ultimate vision.

PLUS A WHOLE LOT MORE that we can't tell you about here. 😉 We're proficient with client acquisition. It's our strong suit, we'll show you how we do it.

How many Gig-Rigs can I buy?

As many as you need! As your territory expands Gig-Rigs can be purchased and shipped to your location within 8 weeks so you can focus on hiring and growing your business.

What if I don't have any prior experience?

That's just it! The you don't need any prior experience. What you need is a heart of a founder and a desire to build something you will be proud of.

What kind of vehicle do I need to tow it?

A truck is best. We require a vehicle that is a 2010 or newer. Your hitch must be rated at 3,000 lbs. The Gig-Rig weighs about 1,800 lbs.

How long does the process take?

After signing your franchise agreement, about 75 days.

60 Days to build your Gig Rig

14 days of Training

75 Days

How can I do this part time?

Our system is designed to be lean & efficient. This allows little overhead, high margins and flexibility to do this on your own time. Hourly earning rates are about $125/hr (can vary + or -).

No need for office space either. Park the rig at home and reap the rewards of mobile service delivery.

How can I grow it as a full time venture?

Starting out with a single Rig is a great place to start. After your Rig reaches capacity, you can:

  1. Acquire a new territory to service - or...
  2. Acquire another Rig to service your current territory
  3. Both 1 & 2

It is scaled as you grow - Keeping expenses as linear as possible.
