Nothing outside your house gets dirty all at once. It goes a shade at a time. Road film on the siding. Dust worked into the stucco. A driveway that has been grey so long you take grey for the color of concrete. None of it arrives on a day you would notice, so you stop seeing it — until part of it gets washed and you can see the line where the clean stops.
It is an easy job to start yourself, which is the trap. You can rent a machine for a weekend. What does not come with the machine is reach — the wall over the garage, the gable ends, the second story — or the hours it takes to finish a house instead of sampling it.
So it becomes somebody else's job. Your local owner's crew brings the reach and the time it takes, and none of the work happens indoors. What you get back is a house that looks like somebody is keeping up with it, and a rented machine you never had to haul home.

What surfaces do you wash?
Siding — vinyl, stucco, painted wood, fiber cement, brick, and stone. Flatwork — concrete driveways, walkways, patios, and pool decks. Plus decks, fences, and retaining walls. Each of those wants a different approach, which is what "the right pressure for each surface" means: concrete can take real pressure, stucco and painted wood cannot, and treating them the same is how houses get damaged.
What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing cleans with force. Soft washing cleans with chemistry — low pressure plus a cleaning solution that kills and releases the organic growth, then a gentle rinse. Hard, dense surfaces like concrete respond well to pressure. Siding, stucco, painted wood, older mortar, and anything with a coating on it get soft washed, because high pressure on those forces water behind the surface and strips paint. We pick per surface, not per house.
Will pressure washing damage my siding or paint?
Not the way we do it. Damage in this trade comes from using pressure where chemistry belongs — blasting stucco, driving water under lap siding, etching wood grain, or stripping oxidized paint right off the wall. Those are all the same mistake. We match the method to the material and test in an inconspicuous spot when we're unsure. If your siding is already failing, we'll tell you before we wash it rather than after.
Can you get oil stains off my driveway?
Fresh and moderately aged oil usually comes out with a degreasing pre-treatment followed by hot pressure — sometimes completely. Old, deeply soaked stains typically lighten a lot without disappearing entirely, because the oil has migrated into the pores of the concrete rather than sitting on top. Rust, paint drips, and tire marks are their own category. Show us photos at the quote stage and we'll tell you honestly what to expect.
Is it safe for my plants, pets, and kids?
We pre-wet landscaping before applying anything, tarp or shield sensitive plantings, and rinse thoroughly on the way out. Keep pets and kids indoors while we are on site — the bigger hazard is wet slick concrete and hoses underfoot, not the cleaning solution. Give hardscape a couple of hours before anyone is back on it, which is roughly when it is walkable again.
How long until surfaces are dry and usable?
Concrete and hardscape are typically walkable within a couple of hours and fully dry in four to six, depending on sun, shade, and humidity. Siding dries faster. If you're sealing, staining, or painting after the wash, wait a full 24 hours minimum — sealing over trapped moisture is how a good wash turns into a peeling mess.
How often should I wash the outside of my house?
Once a year for most homes, usually in spring. North-facing walls, shaded siding, and anything under trees grow algae faster and may want it more often. Concrete is more about looks and traction than damage, so it's on your schedule — though algae on a shaded walkway is genuinely slippery and worth staying ahead of. Booking it alongside your spring window cleaning is the efficient way to do it.
