Privacy policy
Short, specific, and limited to what this website actually does. Last updated 28 September 2026.
Who this is about
This covers worriedbird.com. Worried Bird is a network of locally owned window and exterior cleaning businesses — when you ask for a quote, the owner who serves your area is the one who does the work and the one who contacts you.
The company responsible for this website and for the information you send through it is Worried Bird Franchise System Inc., a Nevada corporation, at 5725 S Valley View Blvd, Ste 5 #752029, Las Vegas, NV 89118-3122. That is a correspondence address; the work is done locally.
What you give us
The Worry Free Quote form is the only place this website asks you for anything. It collects your name, and whichever of phone number and email address you choose to give us — one of the two, so we have a way to reply. You can also add your ZIP code and a short message about what needs doing.
Along with that we record which service and which market the request came from, so it reaches the right crew. If your ZIP is in an area we do not serve yet, we note that too, and treat the request as “tell me when you get here” rather than a job.
If you send the form from a technician’s own page (see “Pages about our technicians”, below), the request also records that page’s short code, so the local owner can tell which technician’s page it was sent from, however you reached that page.
Only your name and one way to reach you are required. Everything else is optional.
What is collected automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Some of our technicians leave a door hanger with a QR code and a short link (worriedbird.com/t/ followed by a short code) that opens a page about them. Opening that link adds one to a count for that link, kept by date in our own database, whether or not you have answered the analytics notice. The count happens on our server as the link sends you on, before any page loads, so there is no moment to ask first. Nothing about you is stored with it: no IP address, no cookie and nothing about your device, only which link and which day. The local owner sees the totals for their own links.
Beyond that, browsing this site is not measured unless you say it may be. There are no advertising or tracking pixels, and apart from that door-hanger count, nothing is measured and no cookies are set until you have answered the notice at the bottom of the page. Fonts are served from this site rather than fetched from another company, so reading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
Analytics, if you say yes
The first time you visit with JavaScript on, a notice asks whether we may count your visit. Until you answer, none of the tools below runs. If you say no, that stays true and the notice goes away. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stay off whatever you choose here, and the notice never appears. Without JavaScript there is no notice and no analytics.
If you say yes, three tools load:
- Vercel Web Analytics — which pages are read, the site a visitor came from, their country, and the kind of device and browser. It sets no cookies.
- Vercel Speed Insights — how fast pages load. It sets no cookies.
- Google Analytics — which pages are read and, roughly, where visitors come from, plus Google’s standard page measurements: how far down a page is read, clicks on links that leave this site, and whether the quote form was started or sent (not what you typed in it). Google sets its analytics cookies (their names begin with
_ga) in your browser for that. We have switched off Google’s advertising features and its ad-personalisation signals.
We use these to see which pages are read, how far they are read, and how fast they load. None of it is used for advertising, and none of it includes anything you type into the quote form.
Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, so we do not ask on every page. You can change it here. Turning analytics off stops the measuring at once and removes the Google Analytics cookies this site set. The scripts stay in the page, switched off, until you open the site fresh (a reload or a new tab), after which they are not loaded at all.
How we use it
To quote, schedule and carry out the work, and to contact you about it. If you are in an area we have not opened yet, to let you know when we do.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
- The local owner who serves your area — so they can quote and schedule the work. A request sent through this website is emailed to them directly once their location is set up with us; until then it comes to us and we pass it on. A request sent from a technician’s page includes that page’s short code. Owners also see, for each of their technicians’ links, how many times it was opened and how many quote requests carried its code, as totals that say nothing about who opened it or who asked.
- Our email relay. Each request is emailed to us, with your local owner copied in where their location is set up with us, through a third-party form-to-email service (FormSubmit). That email contains what you submitted.
- Callvera, which answers our phone line. If you call us, its automated assistant takes your call and records and transcribes it, and your request reaches us.
- The companies that run our website and database (our hosting provider and Supabase, which stores the request). They hold the data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
- Vercel and Google, only if you said yes to analytics. They receive the page-view and page-speed data described above, and nothing you type into the quote form.
We may also share information if the law requires it. Otherwise, that is the whole list.
How we will contact you
If you send us a quote request, we use what you gave us to reply — by phone call, text message, or email. These are messages about the request you made: your quote, confirming a time, and letting you know when the crew is on the way.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to be texted is not a condition of buying anything from us — tell us to call instead and we will.
If you call us
Our phone line is answered by an automated assistant run by Callvera, a call-answering service. It takes the details needed to do the job — your name, the address, contact details, and what you would like cleaned — and can put you through to a person.
Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can act on your request accurately. We use the details to quote, schedule and carry out the work, and to contact you about it, which means passing them to the local owner who serves your area. We do not sell them.
Photographs of our work
Photographs on this site are our own pictures of our own work. We do not use stock or AI-generated imagery to represent jobs we have done. Before we publish a photograph in which someone’s home is identifiable, we ask that homeowner first.
Pages about our technicians
A local owner can give a technician a page of their own, reached from the QR code and short link on that person’s door hangers and from the team section of the location’s page. It shows the technician’s photo and role, their first name and the initial of their last name, a few sentences in their own words and, if they choose, their experience and the year they started living in the area, alongside up to three of that location’s customer reviews and the quote form.
Every time the page is written or changed, the owner confirms that the technician agreed to it, and our team reads each version before it goes up. When a new version goes up, the one it replaces is no longer shown or readable through the site. These pages ask search engines not to list them and are left out of our sitemap.
A technician who leaves, or who wants their page taken down, can ask their local owner, who can take it down themselves without waiting for a review, or write to website@worriedbird.com. The short link then leads to the location’s page instead.
Accounts for owners and staff
There is a signed-in area of this site used by Worried Bird owners and staff to manage their location’s photos and content. Signing in sets a session cookie, which exists only to keep that person logged in. This does not apply to customers — nothing on the public site requires an account.
We can add an owner by their email address before they have an account. We keep that address, the location it is for and who added it only until the owner first signs in or we link their account, or until the invitation is cancelled.
Owners and staff with a worriedbird.com address sign in with that Google Workspace account. Google then passes the account’s name, email address, profile picture and an identifier for the Google account to our sign-in provider, which keeps them with the account. We use the email address to know who is signed in and which location they manage; nothing on the site uses the rest. Their first Google sign-in creates the account. For an owner with any other address, we create the account ourselves and give them a password to sign in with. We keep an account until the owner or staff member asks us to remove it (see “Your information, wherever you live”).
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep ordinary business records. If you ask us to delete yours, we will, and we will ask your local owner to delete any emailed copy. Recordings and transcripts of calls are held by Callvera for us; if you ask, we will ask Callvera to delete yours.
Your information, wherever you live
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct it, if we have it wrong;
- delete it.
Email website@worriedbird.com, or call 888-216-2643 and ask for Customer Support. Customer Support reviews everything sent to that address. We will respond within 45 days.
We may need to check that you are who you say you are before we hand anything over or delete it — that protects you, not us.
Some places have laws giving people exactly these rights; California is the best-known. We are not going to make you look up whether you qualify. If you live somewhere with such a law, you have these rights here — and so does everyone else.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. Not to anyone, in any state.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Quote requests are stored in a database that the public side of this website can write to but cannot read back — a submitted request is not retrievable by anyone browsing the site. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise; we do not claim your information can never be compromised.
Changes
We are still building this website. As we add online booking and other features, this policy will be updated before those features go live, and this page will say what changed and when.
- 28 September 2026 — added “Pages about our technicians”. “What is collected automatically” now says that opening the short link on a technician’s door hanger adds one to a daily count for that link, whether or not you have answered the analytics notice, with nothing about you stored. “What you give us” says a request sent from a technician’s page records that page’s code, and “Who sees it” says the local owner sees it, and the totals for their links.
- 27 September 2026 — “If you call us” now says our phone line is answered by Callvera’s automated assistant, which records and transcribes calls and can put you through to a person; “Who sees it” adds Callvera and says a request sent through this website is copied to your local owner where their location is set up with us; “How long we keep it” says how we handle deleting emailed copies and call recordings.
- 27 September 2026 — “Accounts for owners and staff” now says that owners and staff with a worriedbird.com address sign in with Google, which passes their name, email address, profile picture and an identifier for the Google account to our sign-in provider, and that for any other owner we create the account and give them a password. It no longer describes an emailed sign-in link, which is not switched on; it will again, with the email service named, when it is.
- 26 September 2026 — “Accounts for owners and staff” now says that an owner can be added by email before they have an account, and can sign in with an emailed one-time link.
- 22 September 2026 — added optional analytics (Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights and Google Analytics) behind a yes/no notice, and rewrote “What is collected automatically” to match. Nothing loads until you say yes.
- First published 25 August 2026. Rewritten 3 September 2026 to describe the quote form, with how we contact you added the next day. Updated 17 September 2026 to name who answers requests.
